CLOUT’s NITE OF PASSION 2003

CLOUT Council members have received lots of positive feedback regarding the CLOUT Nite of Passion 2003 on August 15 in Philadelphia. After a rousing opening number by Esme and her mini-troupe of belly dancers, presenters Mari Castellanos, Yvette Flunder, Mary E. Hunt, Irene Monroe, Melanie Morrison, Virginia Mollenkott, Gloria Nafziger and Janie Spahr reminded us why it is truly a miracle to be Christian, lesbian and out! Annette Olsen graciously MC’d the event. We rocked the rafters of University Lutheran Church with our hooting, hollering and joy of community.

Attendees were asked for immediate feedback by filling out 3 x 5 cards. One respondent summed it up nicely:

” A joy to behold ! ! !

The glory of God made manifest in passionate, beautiful women”

CLOUT’s passions will multiply, as we get together for our semi-annual gathering in 2004 in the San Francisco Bay Area June 21-24. We hope to have a CLOUT presence at the Dyke March and the Pride Parade in San Francisco the weekend after the gathering. Mark your calendar!
